Approach

Welcome! Every one of us has grown and been shaped by the relationships we have had and continue to have throughout our lives. Along this path, there may have been pain, anxiety, grief, loss, and joy. Perhaps you are searching for support with depression or loss, or anxiety, or the sense that something isn’t as you wish it to be in your life and relationships. In therapy, building the space for acceptance and curiosity, for compassion and repair, is what heals. In my work with you I offer a loving opportunity for exploration and reframing so that you can connect to your authentic self and engage meaningfully and honestly within relationship to others. How you want to be seen, loved, and understood from the inside out will be the focus of our work. My approach is holistic and inclusive. I bring an LGBTQ2S+, poly/non-monogamy, and sex positivity approach to my work. I have learned from several therapeutic approaches including relational, narrative, dialectical and cognitive behavioural, and internal family systems. I believe in the power of creativity and playfulness to heal. Together we will explore and develop a healing path for you using stories, metaphors, and the felt sense in your body of what you need to heal.

Depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, post-partum, miscarriage and perinatal loss, grief, attachment and developmental trauma, creative blocks, and learning disabilities (ADHD).
